Are you tired of spending so much money on your summer watering bill while watching it run down the street? With the common issue in the Seattle area of clay based soil, your lawn may be experiencing water repellency issues. All soil under your lawn is not created equal. Different areas experience issues with water/nutrient retention which is the biggest cause of localized dry spots. Summer has the most detrimental impact of water repellency stress to a lawn and now we can provide a solution for summer and fall!
Seattle’s water repelling soil can be remedied several ways so that it absorbs and retains water more effectively, increasing the benefits of watering and rainfall. Our new soil surfactant (wetting agent) has a unique characteristic of producing downward and lateral movement of water (omni directional), which provides a uniform moisture profile throughout your lawn for up to 45 days. The wetting agent promotes a fast recovery of stressed lawns by speeding up the infiltration of water. This allows for an efficient use of water, but not only water, it also distributes nutrients evenly, encouraging your shallow rooted lawn to grow deeper roots. This is one of the secret tricks behind those perfectly consistent golf course greens!
Aerating is required when using a wetting agent.
Yesterday after you applied that “soil wetting agent” I watered the lawn for 30 minutes front and back. I went out a few minutes ago to check the rear lawn where yesterday the soil was almost bone dry after watering the day before and much to my surprise it was still wet a day later!!!!!!
To be truthful I was somewhat skeptical if the stuff would work and much to my surprise it does work….
